Initial info on a workshop being held by the CNSC on January 8, 2008 on the health effects of tritium.

I don't think there is funding for expenses, but it would be good to have some significant ENGO representation at this. Note that Ian Fairlie (who recently did a report for Greenpeace) has been invited, along with several other internationally prominent experts.

There is limited seats at the table (60) so if you think you might go, please put a request in NOW - e-mail: tritium@cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca

Please blind-copy me on your request so I can track who is going.

As mentioned, I am still trying to get the formal information invitation out but the room is booked and the invited speakers have accepted so it is a go. Here are the details so far: (the issue's in red are a few of the reasons it is being held up!)

If there are specifically others that you would like to have invited, please feel free to send them this on the understanding that this is not the official version. I just have to be careful to not to show preference to any one group but I am happy that the news is getting out.
